MILAN, Italy and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide has signed a franchise agreement with owner GdF Milano Nord Srl to open a 193-guestroom hotel in Milan under its mid-market Hilton Garden Inn brand. The hotel is expected to start welcoming guests in the first quarter of 2015, ahead of Expo Milano 2015, which will take place from May until October next year.

Milan is known as Italy's business hub, where commercial and creative industries meet, and this latest addition to our portfolio will provide a great base from which to explore the city."

The hotel joins nine Hilton Garden Inn hotels trading or in development in Italy including Hilton Garden Inn Milan Malpensa. The hotel will feature over 850 metres of event space, guest parking, bar, full-service restaurant, complimentary fitness centre, 24-hour business center, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

With three international airports and numerous road and high speed rail transport links, Milan is well connected to other Italian and international destinations. The newly built hotel will be situated adjacent to Viale Monza at Via Lucio Giunio Columella, 36 Milan, and will benefit from transport links to the city centre and wider region.
