MOSCOW - In a further step towards achieving Hilton Worldwide's ambition of establishing award winning, mid-market accommodation in Russia's regional cities, the company today announced plans for the introduction of three new Hilton Garden Inn hotels.

Located in Kaluga, Kirov and Krasnoyarsk, the three properties are all expected to begin welcoming guests by the end of 2014.  The trio will add almost 500 guestrooms to Hilton Worldwide's rapidly expanding Russian portfolio, which now consists of 38 hotels and guest rooms in excess of 7,000 either operational or in the pipeline.

Hilton Garden Inn Kaluga - Located on the bustling Saltykova Schederina Street, which links the city's business district to the key industrial parks of Rosva and Grabtsevo, the hotel enjoys a prime location for business travellers visiting this industrial hub.  Only 150km southwest of the Russian capital, Kaluga enjoys the status of administrative centre of Kaluga Oblast, a region home to the offices of several major companies and car manufacturing plants.   Through a franchise agreement with Kaluga Inn LLG, the property will offer 100 guestrooms and benefit from 400 square metres of events space.

Hilton Garden Inn Kirov - Signed as a franchise agreement with Investment Development Company LLC, this 103 guestroom hotel will benefit from an enviable location in central Kirov.  Featuring an eye catching design comprising of a modern, spherical tower, the property will enjoy high visibility amongst travellers entering the city via the Oktyarbsky Prospekt main road.  This links the city centre with Kirov's main regional train station, thus ensuring ease of access to the hotel for those visiting the city, which is the administrative centre of the Kirov Oblast region.

Hilton Garden Inn Krasnoyarsk - Featuring a total of 259 guestrooms, Krasnoyarsk in eastern Siberia will be home to the largest of the three hotels.  Located on the banks of the Yenisei River in the Vzletka district, which is emerging as the city's business and administrative centre, it will be developed under a management agreement with LLC Managing Construction Company Sibiryak.  The hotel will be housed in a striking 15 storey mixed use development, which will also feature a swimming pool, bowling alley and office facilities.  Krasnoyarsk acts as a transit hub on the Trans-Siberian rail road and is serviced by two international airports, lending the city the position of central and eastern Siberia's economic and cultural stronghold.
