Nearly 70 individual and hotel awards were presented to hotels chosen from the brand's portfolio of more than 560 hotels worldwide. The 2012 Hotel of the Year and Connie Award Winner was the Hilton Garden Inn Cartersville, GA.

The Connie Award, named in honor of company founder Conrad Hilton, is awarded to the top hotel of the year based on three key components, including: quality assurance audits measuring cleanliness, condition and brand standards; customer scores rating staff service; and customer service scores rating the quality of the hotel's physical accommodations. The top hotel awards were presented based on year-end scores and results from the Hilton Garden Inn Balanced Scorecard, a tool used by the brand to measure and track overall performance of each Hilton Garden Inn hotel in various key performance indicators: Satisfaction and Loyalty Tracking (SALT) survey, Quality Assurance, and Brand Management and Product Standards.
2012 marks the first year the Hilton Garden Inn Cartersville, GA received the coveted Connie Award. The 108-room hotel opened in 2009 and is owned by Cartersville Paradise Group LLC and is managed by HP Hotels.
The Pride Merit Awards are given to the hotels in the 2nd and 3rd ranked position based on three components: quality assurance audits measuring, condition and brand standards; customer scores rating staff service; and customer service scores rating the quality of the hotel's physical accommodations. The winners of the 2012 Pride Merit Awards are the Hilton Garden Inn Providence Airport/Warwick, RI and the Hilton Garden Inn Mobile East Bay/Daphne, AL.
The Hilton Garden Inn Providence/Warwick, RI is owned and managed by Newport Hospitality Group, Inc., and opened its doors to guests in 2005 and features 160 guest rooms. The hotel's general manager, Kevin Buchanan, was also honored as the 2012 Barbara Bejan Hilton Garden Inn General Manager of the Year.
The Hilton Garden Inn Mobile East Bay/Daphne, AL is owned by Budget Inn of Daphne, Inc. and managed by Inn Serve Corporation. The 124-room hotel is located on the Eastern shore of Mobile Bay in Daphne and has welcomed guests since opening its doors in 2004.
