The 178-room Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore/Evanston has completed a two-month, $2.5 million renovation of its guest rooms and fitness center.

EVANSTON, Ill. - The 178-room Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore/Evanston has completed a two-month, $2.5 million renovation of its guest rooms and fitness center. The hotel is owned by Inland American Lodging Group and is managed by Interstate Hotels and Resorts Management Company. 

"The extensive renovation recently completed at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore/Evanston will enable the hotel to provide guests with superior accommodations and a highly satisfying stay overall," said General Manager, Adrian Brewington.  "Our comfortable guest rooms and amenities such as the Garden Sleep System®, the ergonomic desk chair and our cooked-to-order breakfast appeal to all travelers-no matter the trip occasion."

Among the many enhancements to the hotel's guest rooms are new window treatments with contemporary wood cornices, carpeting, wall coverings, comfortable soft seating, accent tables, upgraded lighting and decorative design elements.

In addition, the Hilton Garden Inn added a new, state-of-the-art fitness center with all-new Precor cardiovascular and strength training equipment, including treadmills, an elliptical trainer, and a recumbent bike with personal TV's, and a stretch trainer, bench and full range of free weights, yoga balls and mats.

Situated adjacent to Northwestern University, and just minutes from Wrigley Field, Loyola University and downtown Chicago by Chicago's famous "L" train or Metra train, the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore/Evanston provides the amenities to ensure guests have everything they need whether traveling for business or personal business.

The Pavilion Pantry® is open 24 hours and features a complete selection of salty snacks, sweet treats, cold beverages as well as freshly prepared, frozen and microwaveable packaged items.

Other hotel amenities include: a spacious Pavilion lobby featuring a comfortable lounge area with a television and fireplace; an easy-to-set alarm clock that allows guests to play their portable CD or MP3 player; an in-room "hospitality center" with a mini fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker; a sitting area with an easy chair and ottoman; a hairdryer; and an iron and ironing board. In addition to the new fitness center, the hotel's recreational facilities include an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool.
