Hilton Worldwide Signs Agreement with Hoan Kiem Tourism & Trading Company Limited to Welcome First Hilton Garden Inn in Southeast Asia Hilton Worldwide today signed a new management agreement with Hoan Kiem Tourism & Trading Company Limited to introduce the first Hilton Garden Inn and Hilton Worldwide’s second property in Vietnam. Scheduled to open in the second half of 2012, the 86-room Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi marks the debut of Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Worldwide’s award-winning, mid-priced brand, in Southeast Asia.

The Admiral Fund Acquires Hilton Garden Inn Houston Energy Corridor The Admiral Capital Real Estate Fund LP (Admiral) announced the acquisition of a preferred equity interest in the Hilton Garden Inn Houston Energy Corridor, a select service hotel in one of Houston's fastest-growing market areas. The investment marks Admiral's first in the hotel sector and third acquisition of the fund. The 190 room hotel is situated in the heart of the Energy Corridor and caters to the nation's largest oil and gas clients. Opened in 2008, the hotel is located at 12245 Katy Freeway in West Houston along the I-10 Corridor, and will continue to be managed and partially owned by American Liberty Hospitality of Houston. The price was not disclosed.

Hilton Garden Inn Launches in Bristol Hilton Garden Inn today announced the opening of its latest UK hotel in Bristol’s Temple Quay development. The former Mint Hotel has been converted to Hilton Garden Inn Bristol City Centre and is located in the heart of the city centre opposite Bristol’s business district, Temple Meads station and close to Cabot Circus shopping destination as well as the city’s historic harbourside. The transformation of the former Mint hotel is part of a wider Hilton Garden Inn portfolio expansion which also includes new openings in Glasgow and Birmingham.

HRI Lodging Names Kristi Taglauer General Manager of Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter/CBD Kristi Taglauer, who managed HRI Lodging’s Chateau Bourbon New Orleans, A Wyndham Hotel, has been named general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD at 821 Gravier Street, announced Gary Gutierrez, president of HRI Lodging. “HRI Lodging is fortunate to have an experienced, proven talented team of managers like Kristi Taglauer,” said Gutierrez. “Kristi has achieved remarkable success at Chateau Bourbon, and we are confident of similar results at Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter/CBD,” he added.
